Silica/ Respirator Training

In this course, students will learn what silica is, the hazards of silica dust, the health effects of silica, ways to control silica dust exposure, understand the OSHA silica standard and how to work safely around silica. Students will also learn about respiratory protection, how to maintain their equipment and take a fit test.

Prerequisites
  • Must be clean shaven to take respirator fit test
